The Russian as well as the
Ukrainian cuisine is unfor-
tunately little known in the
West even though it has
many superb delicacies to
offer.
Borscht, Solianka, Pelmeni, Pierogi are only a few dishes this cuisine has to offer. Especially in the colder winter months, when more sub-
stantial dishes are eaten, do these Russian and Ukrainian delicacies
fit perfectly.
In our Rôtisserie you can get to know and enjoy these various specialities from Saturday, 7 January to Friday 10 February 2012.
During our culinary weeks, we would not only like to introduce you to the culinary delights of Russia and the Ukraine, but also to invite you cordially to the «Sochivos», the Russian banquets!
The Russian Christmas celebration takes place on Saturday 7 January, the Russian New Year on Friday 13 January. Only in 1991 did 7 January become an official public holiday. Before that, that is, after the October Revolution in 1917, religious celebrations were not allowed. Hence the reason to celebrate even more these days.
Seize the opportunity to celebrate and enjoy one of these unique evenings, dancing the night away!
On the evenings of Friday 27 January, Friday 3 and Friday 10 February 2012 the Scherzo Ensemble will accompany you musically at our Russian-Ukrainian Dinners.
